Chaton is a messenger application build specifically for mobile platforms. Particular for Smartphone OS like android, iOS and Windows Mobile too. Unfortunately the app has not been officially launched for desktops or laptops. However, there lies still a way to make it compatible for your computers. This can be quite easily done using an emulator that would consequently allow installing the packages of either of the supported OS to install on PC’s.

Chaton is a messenger application that comes straight from Samsung, as the app was originally made for their Bada OS. The app was usually a replacement and of course an alternative for Whatsapp, which was not available for Bada users then. As of now Whatsapp is found everywhere. Chaton works on the same principle as Whatsapp i.e. instant messaging. Here the messages so made to be delivered are sent using you data connectivity instead of airtime; well all of the messengers works on this basic common principle.

Chaton will allow you to send text messages, emoticons, voice notes, images, videos and music files too. There is nothing new this app so far and same is the reason for its gradual decremented usage. The app has an interactive interface with rather simple colors and background which can however be changed. For start using this app you will first need to register with the Samsung community. One feature of the app is that you can opt to register using your mail along with your number.

As already discussed earlier that the app is available only for mobile devices, owing to be developed for ios, android, bada and windows mobile too. No official versions have been made available for pc. There is still a way though for making it to run on your PC. For this we will have to use emulators.

We can use emulators for either of the concluding supported mobile platforms. Although, android emulator Bluestacks is the most recommended application for this purpose. Using Bluestacks is quite simple and will take only a few steps to get Chaton for PC. Here are the steps:

• Download Bluestacks using the offline downloader.


• Now, download it on your PC using the package that you downloaded.


• Open the installed software and search for ‘Chaton’ using the search feature provided in the emulator.


• When the app is found, download the app and wait for the installation to complete.

When the application is installed successfully, you can open the game from the shortcut in myapps folder of Bluestacks. Whoa! Before you do anything do make sure of the internet connectivity, as the game is downloaded from online stores. Also this connection will further be required to avail the services provided by Chaton.

In case you wish to install the app from a backup, which you might have made using titanium backup or other such application. Then firstly extract the content and get the original apk file. Now open the apk file it will automatically install on your system.
