The director of security Google for Work, Eran Feigenbaum wrote in a blog post about this launch that “Security in the cloud is a shared responsibility and keeping your company information secure is at the core of what we do everyday”. He also shares that “By making users more aware of their security settings and the activity on their devices, we can work together to stay a step ahead of any bad guys”.

Devices and Activity dashboard

The reason behind this Google account new security tool – Devices and Activity Dashboard is that the Google user’s needs to keep their eyes in their devices and the activities even when their devices like mobile (which we normally use to access our Google Apps because of we can use that in anytime, anywhere) got hacked, lost or stolen. This Devices and Activity dashboard helps you to know which devices are currently connected with your Google accounts. It also shows you which devices got connection to your Google account for the past 28 days. This Google account new security tool – Devices and Activity dashboard is just placed under the Security tab. If there is any unusual things happen or security breach in your account, then Google user can change their passwords immediately by clicking the Secure your account placed at the top and secure his/her accounts.

Google account launches this Security wizard especially for work accounts. This Work accounts from Google makes the security tight by updating the new security wizard in security settings.
