Google Wireless Cellular Network

Google started its journey as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. And now its journey has been extended from Google search engine to Google Maps, Android etc…Most of the people knows something about Google. To get more interaction with all people, Google planned to launch another product called as “WIRELESS CELLULAR NETWORK”. We all know that Google has already provides Internet to homes and businesses by Google Fiber. Now Google plans to provide wireless cellular network by means of Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). Rumor on Google’s wireless cellular network started at 2008 but now it is back with the real announcement. Google again proves that it can make the out of box things more successfully. Let’s see about this Wireless Cellular network in detail in the following passages.

FIRST WIRELESS CELLULAR NETWORK BY GOOGLE

First let’s see about Mobile Virtual Network Operator. MVNO is a wireless service provider which does not use its own infrastructures and cellular towers. Instead MVNO owns network for leases from the leading service provider and provides its name to that network. MVNO has its separate data plans, billing systems and customers. Our Google wireless cellular network is based on this MVNO. Google plans to get the wholesale access from the Sprint and T-Mobile networks. It acts as the backbone for Google Wireless cellular network. MVNO automatically switches between these networks and choose the one which is faster, better and more stable at that moment.

If you are in travel, it connects to the Sprint at that moment and switch to the T-Mobile and later it uses the open WiFi hotspot available in your surroundings. Google finds and connect to the best connection available at that moment. It is really a great thing because whatever the surrounding is, Google Wireless provides the best connection to us.

Nowadays most of the people have the android based Smartphone. Consider to other parts of the world US has expensive data plans. When the cost of data plans is high, automatically surfing of sites gets decreased. To eradicate this problem Google plans to start its own wireless network. Google plans to provide cheaper data plans or unlimited data to all. But the confirmed data plans and packages are still not said by Google. They planned to provide unlimited and pay as you go plans. Google planned to sell service packages via online store instead of normal recharge store.

Google plans to launch the Google Wireless in the mid of this year. At 2012, report said that it create and test the experimental wireless in its headquarters. It only covers its mountain view. At 2013, Google planned to partner with local telecommunication companies in the areas of south East Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. Google planned to spend $2 per gigabyte Advantage of Google from the Google Wireless which does not need to spend millions of dollars to install cellular tower around the world. But the risk is if this wireless plans fails, people blame Google not T-Mobile or Sprint for the network failures.
