Asphalt 8:Airborne developed by Gameloft, was initially launched on iOS and Android platforms on August 22, 2013 which was followed by its release on Windows phone 8 and the Blackberry later on.

Asphalt 8 has a similar gameplay to Asphalt 7. Along with heat, the players are also provided with four simple control options viz auto-acceleration, screen tap, steering buttons etc.
