This new setting of Block interruption in Android Lollipop 5.0 helps you to block the messages that you feel to get through. This feature also helps you to block the app notification from clogging. The user can throw their interrupted messages in a temporary wall by the way of choosing the duration time (i.e.) from one minute – Several days. Until those choosing days, the interrupted zones will not display in your mobile. Lets we see the steps of how to set this new settings of Block Interruption in Android Lollipop 5.0 below.

Step 1: Settings Menu


 To set the block interruption in Android Lollipop 5.0, first you need to Open up the settings menu in your mobile and then scroll down to the sound and notifications option. Then Tap.

Step 2: Tap Interruptions


When you tap the Sound and Notification option there will be some option shown. In that option, first you need to tap the option of Interruptions to set the option of when the notification needs to reach you. You need to have in mind that getting message regularly (interrupt) for your mobile is set as the default option.


Step 3: Select Priorities Interrupt


In the Priority Interruption, you can select the option of what type of notifications that you like to receive (i.e.) if you likes to receive the notification by events and reminders or messages and calls from the loved ones, you can choose through this Priority Interruptions. To set those options, just drag those sliders from left to right direction.

Step 4: Set Timings


After Priority Interrupt is selected, select the Downtime option which gives the option of setting the timings to block interrupts in Android 5.0. You have the facility of selecting the specific days in the week or specific timings of the day.

Step 5: Tap App Notification


If you need to block any specific app in your mobile for certain period of time, then you need to go back to the Sound and notification menu. After move to that menu, tap App notification.


Step 6: Select App and Block


Then choose the Specific app from the installed apps list to build its specific priorities. Once you choose the specific app, there will two options shown in another display (i.e.) Block and Priority. By using the Slider in Block option, you can block the selected specific app. Or you can also use the Slider in Priority setting option to set some other Priority settings for the selected specific app.
