Euro Truck Simulator is a game developed for windows, which is specifically a truck simulator game as per the name suggests. Basically the game is set out in Europe and is modelled in the real world cities of the Europe, giving itself a charming and interesting look. It might not be confused with a racing game as in racing game you have to win the race by completing it first or knocking out all the competitors, Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a vehicle simulation game where you have to complete some real time objectives and the controls are quite different as here we are simulating a vehicle and not just driving it using the Up Down arrow keys.

Gameplay:

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is quite simple with its storyline and interesting with its gameplay. When started for the first time you will be briefed about the game using a small introduction video, which you might skip; well, it is not of any use either Initially you will be asked to select the starting city from a list of available cities which are unlocked by default. These include Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Italy, any many others. Along with this you will be allotted a truck by default with minimal specifications. The trucks and the cities both are huge in number and needs to be unlocked by playing the game as much as possible.

The framework of the game is simple, there are jobs or tasks that you will need to complete, and each of these jobs is completely different. Upon completion you will be awarded money and points which you can use to buy and upgrade your vehicle. When all the objectives of a specific city are completed you will be allotted to a new city, although choosing the next city is not your choice as it is a predefined process. There are around 77 cities that you will need to complete in order to complete the game successfully.

Money, Experience and Skill Points:

Jobs or tasks are the only source of earning money and experience points. Money is just as simple as its name, you can simply spend it to buy some upgrades, new trucks, paint your vehicle, and stylize it or everything else that you would want to do. Although, first all of these things needs to be unlocked. Moreover, some objective will also be needed to unlock. For this ‘Skill point’ comes to play, a skill point is awarded every time your level upgrades. This level in turn is totally dependent on experience point, and the whole system seems to be linked! You get experience point for everything that you do in the game, whether buying something or playing. Level can also be considered as level of expertise which will upgrade itself when you have relative experience points.
